As GIG uses the ATI bus service fairly often, we gave a small donation to the funding of the new Minibus. As a result we were invited to attend the official handover of the bus and pose for a picture which will appear in local press.

We were told that lessons had been learnt from previous experience and different headrests with handles had been installed so people can use them to stand, different seat belts are fitted that can be fitted by carers without stretching. Also the side door on previous buses had caused problems (another thing to go wrong) so entry for this bus is the normal front door!!
The wheelchair ramp/lift is an internally fitted devise which saves problems from being subjected to the weather and it gives better clearance over speed bumps and steep inclines !!
